@lewism i have a sister who has become a marathon biker at the age of 68… she regularly does 100 miles… i wonder if it is about staving off death… to be in such good shape that one can’t die… i do think we should learn to talk more about death and to acknowledge our presence in the cosmos as really fleeting… and so, what is best way to be that brief presence…
